MARKETING MEASUREMENT
More clicks are a signal. Better inquiries are the goal.
Traffic is easier to count than opportunity. A useful marketing review connects the numbers on the screen with the conversations happening in the business.

Define a useful inquiry.
The definition depends on the business. A venue may need the event date, size and type. A service business may need the location and project scope. A senior-living community may need to understand care needs and timing through an appropriate follow-up conversation. Start by defining what makes a conversation worth pursuing.
Connect the message to the destination.
An ad should lead to a page that answers the question it raised. A service page should show the relevant work and explain the next step. If the destination is vague, interested visitors may leave or submit inquiries that do not fit.
Ask for enough information, without making it hard.
A long form can create unnecessary effort. A form with too little context can create extra follow-up. Begin with the details needed to respond well, then use the first conversation to explore the rest.
Bring the business feedback into the review.
Tell your marketing partner which inquiries were relevant, which became conversations and which were a poor fit. That feedback can change the keywords, creative, service pages or form questions in a way that raw traffic numbers cannot.
Measure the next useful step.
Track completed forms, calls and other meaningful actions, then compare them with actual opportunities. The goal is to learn what helps the right people move forward and invest more attention there.
